You can now sync your Pod Direct orders with your Shopify dashboard. This allows you to manage and fulfill your orders via the Shopify dashboard. To begin the integration, please go to your vendor dashboard, under Settings > Shopify Integration.

1. Product Visibility Issues on Shopify

• Question: When connecting products between Pod and Shopify via the Products page, why are Pod products not appearing on the Shopify Products page?

• Answer:

  • API Key Verification: Ensure the API key used is specifically designated for Pod. Using an API key from another platform (e.g., Airgoods) will require disconnection and reconnection with the correct key.

  • Product Publication Status: Confirm that the products are fully published on Pod. Only fully published SKUs will synchronize to Shopify through the Market Connect app.

2. Line-Item Quantity Discrepancy

• Question: Why is the line-item quantity displayed per unit on Shopify instead of per case, as ordered on Pod (e.g., a case of 6 units ordered on Pod appears as 1 unit on Shopify)?

• Answer:

  • Wholesale SKU Creation: Create a wholesale SKU on Shopify that reflects the case pack size. For example, create a SKU representing 6 units per case. Once created, connect this wholesale SKU to the corresponding Pod SKU on the Products page within the Market Connect app.

3. Pending Order Visibility

• Question: Why are pending orders not visible on Shopify? Only new orders appear after establishing the connection.

• Answer:

  • Retroactive Order Synchronization: Orders placed before establishing the connection are not retroactively pushed to Shopify. Only new orders placed after the connection is established will synchronize. Manage previously placed orders through the Pod vendor dashboard.

4. Pod Express Order Visibility

• Question: Why are Pod Express orders not visible on Shopify?

• Answer:

  • Pod Express Order Management: Pod Express orders are not pushed to Shopify. These orders are managed and fulfilled entirely by Pod. Retailer fulfillment for Pod Express orders is handled by Pod.
